Hot Dog!

Gang tags and other spray-painted ephemera are just another part of the visual pollution to be found on buildings in my neighbourhood and on the sides of the freight cars and containers that pass through it. So I had to smile the other day when I drove under the railway bridge at Davenport Road and Landsdowne Avenue. Earnestly, if not artfully, someone has painted a long, really long, dachshund on one side of the wall underneath the bridge and a row of nesting pigeons on the other. Obvious? Of course. Welcome? More than I can say.
